My poor Lilly has been so sick for the past little while. She has had sinus infections, throwing up, and the latest is the fever. I could just not get that thing to go down. I hate it when they are sick. I am such a worrier and think of terrible things. Yesterday while we were at the doctor AGAIN they did an x-ray to check her lungs. That was one of the worst things that I have ever seen. They literally stick them in a tube with their arms up to their ears. They strap them in and there is one little space for their mouths. That is the closest I have ever come to crying during a procedure. She looked so scared and didn't know what was going on. The minute the x-ray technician said I could go and get her I ran. She was just clinging on and saying "bye...please" "bye...please"
It is so hard to be the Mom in those situations. You know that they are doing what they need to to diagnose the problem; yet your little one trusts you and looks in your eyes with fear. Oh I am glad that it is over. Her lungs were clear and she was starting to perk up a little last night. They put her on a stronger antibiotic for her infection.
I am grateful for healthy kids. This was something that could be taken care of. While this has lasted a couple of weeks, she is getting better. I am grateful that this isn't a life long struggle and that my kids are for the most part very healthy. It is something that I take advantage of at times. I am also grateful for the priesthood and AWESOME neighbors who drop everything to come and help Jason give Lilly a blessing. Blessings are miracles.

I am so glad that she is doing better! I was so looking forward to meeting you at Morgan's baptism... I hate it when they are sick and can't tell you what is wrong or where it hurts but I love how snuggly they are!
I'm glad to hear that Lilly is doing better. I remember when they did that to little Kennedy. She'll get better and end up being a big girl soon. Not knowing what wrong is part of the reason why I like it when they get older, so they can tell you what is up....
