I heart mom

It was my mom's birthday yesterday. So let's give a big ol shout out to the mamaseeta.

I haven't blogged for a while and have heard about it. Golly Gee!! So I thought that I would just catch up on the daily jaunts here. I don't have any pictures to post today. First because I got a cool new laptop (thanks dad) and so I don't have any pictures on here yet. Second I am too lazy to go get my camera and upload the 300 I have on my memory card just to find one to put on here. It is ok to not have pictures every once and a while right!! So no pictures today.

Jason is interviewing for a new job today. Still at Target just a higher position. Send good thoughts his way. He is nervous about it. It is something that he wants really bad. He has been working for this position for a couple of years now. It is kind of crazy because last year Jason had the opportunity to interview for a job in higher management. It is the kind of interviews that make you have sweat tacos on your shirt. INTENSE!! This job would have placed us in Tennessee or Baltimore or Timbucktoo.. Somewhere too far from my family. He ended up not getting it because one of the 14 people that he interviewed with thought that he lacked energy!! WTH?? Anyway we would have moved our family cross country and Jason would have had to travel a ton. He had a hard time with the rejection. When I heard though that he didn't pass these interviews, this calm warm peaceful feeling came over me letting me know that everything would be ok. Now here we are a year later and that job position that Jason tried so hard to get is no longer a position. We would have been cross country looking for something else...trying to sale a house...figuring out what to do next. The Lord knows what He is doing right!! What an answer to prayer.

Last night we were coming home from my mom and dads. Ryker had gone home with my dad from the restaurant we went to for my moms birthday.
Me: So Ryker did you have fun driving with Grandpa
Ryker: Ya
Me: What did you talk about?
Ryker: uugghh Mom it was just boy talk...you wouldn't understand
Me:Gasp..

when did he grow up???
